About Me

Hi, 

​

I grew up in the Santa Cruz Mountains above Los Gatos, CA, and have been taking pictures of landscapes, sunrises, sunsets, and capturing the magic moments life offers. My purpose is making the world a better place one image at a time. 

 

I love to travel and search for spectacular views or insightful moments. Photos on my site include locations in California, the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, Hawaii, Canada, and Europe. 

 

When not taking photos, I is an English Teacher at De Anza college that writes poetry, plays, short stories, and non-fiction articles.

 

I'm  also an avid yogi, hiker, and marathoner that you can often see training on the local trails with San Jose Fit, @Bayarearuncrew, @trailsisters or @runlocal408. I like to taking running shots and would be happy to photograph your next race or you in your favorite wild location. 

 

Amy can usually be spotted in Vasona Park taking pictures with her partner, Sarah Lisha. She has three cats, an awesome mom, who goes beach combing every week with Amy, and three nieces and three nephews that keep her busy most weekends.
